Trivia Musashi and Beowulf were not truly mail-in promotions. They were handed out as a demo kit, as well as a free kit in InQuest Gamer and Scrye magazines.
Set 2 is the second in the series of Anachronism sets, adding four new cultures to the mix: Britons, Chinese, Egyptians and Mongols. It was the first set to have mail-in warriors.

For this set, the starter pack came with Ramses II and Genghis Khan and the mail-in warriors were Robin Hood and Yue Fei.

Trivia Set 2 is a bit of an anomaly; it is the only Set that has no promotional cards associated with it.

The third Anachronism set, Set 3 brought The French, The Scottish, The Germanic tribes, and The Native Americans into the game.

For this set, the starter comes with Sainte Jeanne d'Arc and Uilleam Uallas, and the mail-in warriors were Siegfried and Makataimeshekiakiak (Black Hawk).

Set 8 is the "current" set in Anachronism; it was expected to be released in 2007. This set features The Carthaginians and The African Kingdoms, as well as revisits of The Britons and The Romans. However, financing and restructuring issues within TriKing prevented this Set from hitting the store shelves. Instead, the text versions of cards are being released, and legalized for tournament play.
